Thanks again to all who helped me with the colour decision: I’m very grateful. Every drying rack and curtain rail in my house is now covered in rainbows of drying fabric. Will the Resident Masculine Quilt Advisor shake his head when he gets home tonight? We’ll see. I think it’s a nice bright addition to the place. We should do this more often.
Here are the lovely things equilter sent me. The hand dye half yards and kona fat quarter packs are for my sampler; the marbles are tiny pieces for my mini hexagons; the owls… well, I like the owls! All is in place: I have a thesis starting to take shape, a book to resuscitate, and now, enough sewing to keep me out of trouble until the nights stop being so very cold. In Melbourne time, that should be … November.
