This one was fun and easy to do over the Easter holiday. I love this block (well, it has my name on it) and have included it in two other quilts, but I’ve never made it by hand before or as a miniature. Given that it has relatively large pieces and straight lines, the block’s complexity in this case was mostly in fussy-cutting a pattern from this lovely hand-dye fabric equilter.com sent me. You could do it in a less variegated fabric and it would be even simpler.
I decided to have dark tones on the inside and on the outer corners.
