Yes, your fussy cut — fancy piecing — is fantastic! Great job! Do you plan to do more of this fancy piecing in this quilt? I’ve not seen that done before in Grandmother’s Garden but it sure is a wonder effect. For those who understand the required effort, this is even more amazing!
oh, thankyou all! I would love to fussy cut more but it’s actually hard to find materials with prints that lend themselves to it.
Matching is not hard to do: cut and baste a first hexagon, then lay it against the fabric for the second and subsequent ones.
As far as it being an addition to the effort — it’s a years long project so in for a penny, in for a pound

I love this flower garden patch. I never thought of matching up the prints this way for this block.
